Baseball is a difficult sport to master. Baseball is different than other sports; it demands highly developed bio-mechanical motor skills - skills developed through hours of hard work. Raw athletic ability, by itself, is insufficient to produce a good baseball player.

Stods Baseball believes that the hard work demanded by the sport of baseball teaches young athletes important life lessons. Individuals of average athletic ability can be adept baseball players - or even excel - if they are willing to work hard.

We're proud of our students who play in little league/pony league/ rec ball or select,  gain college baseball/softball scholarships, play pro ball, and (the select few) who make it to the majors. But, we are just as proud of the average player who gains that extra bit of self-confidence through hard work - self-confidence that allows them to excel in the classroom or in other aspects of life.

Lessons are scheduled to fit your schedule. We strongly suggest lesson packages, as opposed to a single lesson, as proper hitting requires consistent focus and review.

Stods Select/travel teams are for the serious baseball player
Our goal is to provide:
1. A great schedule of competitive games/tournaments thru Sept 15th fallball
2. Aggressive winter workouts to better our players skills
3. Discounts on all your equipment
4. Effective planning on issues such as:
    Uniforms, equipment, strength conditioning
    and also fundraising and sponsorships
5. Play a custom schedule designed to fit the needs of each team
